Power Yoga combines dynamic, powerful Vinyasa flows with challenging yoga postures. What makes Power Yoga so special is that it especially appeals to those who may not initially connect with the spiritual aspects of yoga. It meets people exactly where they are in their everyday lives and gradually introduces them to the true spirit of yoga. Physical challenge and empowerment are at the core of this yoga style, yet the purpose of the practice is ultimately to create a relaxed body and a mindful mind, preparing for the final deep relaxation.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow and meditative practice where poses are held for several minutes. It gently targets the deeper connective tissues, improves flexibility and mobility, and helps release tension in both body and mind. Yin Yoga creates space for stillness, mindfulness, and deep relaxation.

VINYASA

Vinyasa Yoga links movement with breath in a continuous, flowing sequence. This dynamic practice builds strength, flexibility, and balance while improving focus, body awareness, and mindfulness. Each class can feel unique, creative, and energizing, often including sun salutations, standing postures, and a relaxing final rest.

HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is a balanced and mindful yoga practice that focuses on holding postures for longer while connecting movement with breath and awareness. Unlike Vinyasa Yoga or Power Yoga, which are often faster and more dynamic, Hatha Yoga moves at a slower pace with more time in each pose. This does not necessarily make it easier—holding postures longer can be physically and mentally challenging.

Anais’ Power Yoga sessions combine dynamic Power Yoga flows with the soulful energy of R&B music—featuring artists like Cleo Sol, Summer Walker, H.E.R. and Sabrina Claudio, among many others.

Designed for people who love movement, challenge, and deep connection, each class feels like a powerful full-body workout—with a strong focus on conscious breathing, body awareness, and mindful movement.

Anais’ signature hands-on assists go beyond alignment. They help students explore postures more deeply, create more space in the body, and intensify the physical and mental benefits of each asana.

But Power Yoga is not just about strength—it’s also about learning when to soften. That’s why the relaxation part of every session is just as important as the physical practice.

The final Shavasana allows body and mind to fully slow down, recharge, and integrate the practice. Through guided affirmations, tapping techniques (EFT), meditation, and visualization journeys, students are invited to release emotional blocks, build inner strength, and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.

Every class with Anais includes four essential elements of yoga:

  • Asana – physical yoga postures

  • Pranayama – conscious breathwork

  • Affirmations – positive mindset work
